Photo: circa 1986… probably the very first time I realized how attracted I was by shadows and high contrasts.
Céline is a French photographer currently living in Barcelona. She believes the special light of this city is probably her main trigger when she goes out for a stroll.
She always tries to have her camera with her, and if not, would use her cell phone to capture those shadows that mesmerize her.
She admits that photography almost equals to meditation: “When looking through the viewfinder, comes the silence, and the choreography of light, shadows and colors takes over”. As a result she feels her photography is sitting between streetphotography, documentary photography and fine art photography.
